"Bale's teammates don't pass to him"

 

 Gareth Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has hit out at the media criticism of his client and claimed that the Real Madrid players aren't allowing the Welshman to shine.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Barnett said that Bale's "career is suffering because his Real Madrid teammates do not pass to him".

"People don't know what they're talking about when they criticise Gareth, they are not looking at it properly. Real have to work with Gareth and pass the ball to him more. Give him more of the ball and let him show everybody what he's good at. He's going to be the best player at Real Madrid when his teammates work with him and help him", Barnett stated.

Barnett went on to say that it is only Bale's respectful nature that has prevented him from kicking up a fuss when other players would have done so in a similar situation: "Most people would have been broken by this but he is determined. He could have screamed and shouted or knocked on the manager's office door but he doesn't want to upset anyone".

Nevertheless, the agent is convinced that Bale will stay at the Bernabéu: "Every top club in the world would want to sign him but he will be at Real Madrid next season. There's no way he is going anywhere in the summer. When we said he always wanted to play for Real, it was 100% true and he's determined to be a success there".
