Live from New York, it’s “Saturday Night Live.” The late-night show celebrated 40 years of laughs with superstar guests, past and present “SNL” cast members, and music icons during its anniversary special on Sunday.
Following an introduction from Christopher Walken, Kanye West, who has had a love-hate relationship with “SNL” throughout the years, blessed the stage with a medley of hits.
While lying on the floor and wearing creepy contacts, Yeezus started with “Jesus Walks” before rising for his North West tribute “Only One.” He closed off his epic set with the first live performance of his new song “Wolves” featuring a blonde wig-wearing Sia and Chicago’s own Vic Mensa.
Kanye also made light of his controversial Grammy moment by grabbing the mic from NBC anchor Matt Lauer during the red carpet pre-show.
